Proud Fest 2025: A New Pride Event for LGBT+ Families and Their Allies

A brand-new Pride celebration dedicated to LGBT+ families and their allies is launching this summer in Manchester. Proud Fest 2025 will take place on Saturday, 23rd August at the Great Northern Warehouse, offering a free and fun-filled day designed to celebrate all families in a fun, inclusive, and family-friendly environment.
Running from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Proud Fest will feature entertainment, activities, and community engagement for all ages. It has been created in partnership between Proud 2 b Parents and Great Northern Warehouse, bringing together their shared commitment to inclusion, visibility, and community connection.
Taking place alongside Manchester’s wider Pride celebrations, Proud Fest offers an alternative and accessible space for families who want to mark Pride in a way that feels tailored to them.
Activities at Proud Fest will include:
A sand pit and play area for children
Craft activities and creative workshops
Bouncy castles
Appearances from Pride-themed Mickey and Minnie mascots
Live entertainment and performers
Market and information stalls for parents and carers

Proud Fest is free to attend and open to all LGBT+ families and their allies. The event aims to provide a welcoming space during one of the city’s most important weekends.
