Proud 2 b Parents at Manchester Pride 2025

🌈 Celebrating Every Family, Every Kind of Love 💖

This summer, Proud 2 b Parents proudly walked in Manchester Pride’s Love Parade – bringing love, visibility, and our community’s diverse family stories to the streets. We celebrated families formed through pregnancy, adoption, fostering, surrogacy, donor conception, co-parenting, and more. Each person wore a t-shirt representing their unique family structure, creating a powerful moment of pride, resilience, and belonging. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Watching with Comfort and Care

For those who preferred not to march, Proud 2 b Parents hosted an exclusive viewing area at the Great Northern Warehouse.

From the Community Hall, families had incredible views overlooking Deansgate, with the chance to see the parade in a quieter setting.

With reduced crowds and noise, it offered a calmer and more accessible way to enjoy Manchester Pride – perfect for little ones in prams and children of all ages while still soaking up the celebrations.

Why Pride Matters

Manchester Pride 2025 was more than a parade – it was a statement. A moment where our families were visible, celebrated, and uplifted.

From crafts and costumes to dancing in the streets and sharing hot chocolates at Proud Fest, it showed that our families belong everywhere.

Each banner raised, each child waving, and each parent walking with pride sent a powerful message — that every family deserves to be seen, valued, and included.

Proud Fest at Pride in Manchester

Proud Fest 2025, brought to you by Proud 2 b Parents in association with the Great Northern Warehouse, was a vibrant family-friendly celebration held as part of Pride in Manchester.

It brought together LGBT+ parents, carers, and their children for a day filled with creativity, community, and connection. Families enjoyed everything from arts and crafts to live entertainment, alongside spaces to relax, chat, and build friendships.
