Our Trustees
Meet the Proud 2 b Parents Trustees.
Catherine Treagus-Mullan (Chair of Trustees)
Catherine first joined the board in 2017 and subsequently returned in 2021 to take up the role of Chair and Safeguarding lead. Catherine has 8-year-old twins with her wife and has been accessing Proud 2 b Parents services since her children were 8 weeks old. Outside of Proud 2 b Parents Catherine is a Chartered Water & Environment Manager so don’t get her started talking about water or drains unless you need to catch up on your sleep! She brings her extensive project management and leadership expertise to the board to helping drive our strategic plan forward.
Ryan
Ryan is a solo father to one, he conceived in 2019 after being told that HRT would make him infertile. He is a visible Seahorse Dad and is passionate about helping to make birth work inclusive and teaching other AFAB transgender people that they can transition and carry their own child. He is studying for an MA in Collaborative Theatre and works as a creative and activist. His goal is to set up a queer theatre company that re-tells classics and represents queer stories inspired by and for the LGBTQ+ community.
During his pregnancy he felt alone as an LGBTQ+ birthing parent which led him to finding the Proud 2 b Parents community, by joining the board he hopes that he will be able to support other LGBTQ+ parents like him to find community, and to help P2bP grow and develop as an organisation.

Her birth son has attended the meet ups since a young age and now as a teenager attends P 2 b Me youth group events.
