What will I get for taking part in Dance and Glow?
Once you have paid in your fundraising to Proud 2 b Parents you will receive a letter and certificate to say thank you for your incredible support. You may also win an award of the day from on of our categories.
What will the money help to fund?
Your fundraising will help to fund vital activities and events, such as the cost of hiring a venue for our baby & toddler group, or an activity like skateboarding for our 8-16 year olds’ youth group. These events and activities are a real lifeline for our community of LGBT+ parents and carers, and their children across Greater Manchester and the North West.
Can I set up a ‘normal’ JustGiving Fundraising Page?
Unfortunately, you can’t do this when fundraising to support Proud 2 b Parents. This is because we are such a small organisation we can’t pay to use the standard fundraising pages on that website. That is why we are asking you to create a crowdfunding page instead - then withdraw the money into your own account and pay it in to Proud 2 b Parents.

Can I use any crowdfunding platform or do I have to use JustGiving?
You can use any reputable crowdfunding website to collect your sponsorship. Simply withdraw the money into your own account at the end of the fundraising challenge and pay it into Proud 2 b Parents.
I don’t want to use a crowdfunding website, can I raise money offline instead?
You are welcome to collect sponsorship offline instead if you prefer. Sponsorship forms are also available upon request.
How do I pay all my fundraising in to Proud 2 b Parents?
There are 2 options. You can either withdraw the money from your own crowdfunding page and pay it into our stripe account through the donation link - donate
Or you can withdraw the money from your crowdfunding page and pay it in directly to Proud 2 b Parents via a bank transfer. Offline fundraising can also be paid via bank transfer. Bank account details to make a bank transfer will be provided towards the end of the challenge.
Can I take part as part of a team?
Of course, everyone in the team can share one crowdfunding page. (However, if you do this, you won’t be able to see how much each team member has raised.) Simply let Lizzie know the link to your page and who all the members of your team are. That way they can make the certificates out to all the right people after the challenge finishes.
