Outreach & Partnerships Worker (17 hours)
We’re looking for an Outreach & Partnerships Worker to join the Proud 2 b Parents team.
This 12-month role is 17 hours per week, working across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas, with hybrid and digital working.
You’ll help us reach more LGBT+ families, lead our Families Through Adoption provision, build partnerships with adoption agencies and other organisations, deliver family activities and groups, and help grow the support we provide.
If you’re passionate about LGBT+ families, enjoy bringing people together and want a varied role combining family support, outreach and partnership working, we’d love to hear from you.
£15.50–£16.50 per hour | 17 hours per week | 12-month contract
Trustee Vacancy (Voluntary Role)
Trustees help guide and govern Proud 2 b Parents, supporting our mission to reduce health inequalities and improve outcomes for LGBT+ parents, carers, and children.
As a Trustee, you will:
Help shape our strategy and long-term sustainability
Ensure strong governance, safeguarding, and accountability
Bring your skills, experience, and lived perspective to Board decisions
Champion LGBT+ families and act as an ambassador for the charity
Who we’re looking for:
People from diverse backgrounds — especially those with lived experience of LGBT+ parenting, caring, fertility journeys, adoption, fostering, or navigating services as an LGBT+ family.
Time commitment:
4–6 Board meetings per year (online & in-person)
Remuneration:
Voluntary role (expenses reimbursed)
Make a meaningful difference for LGBT+ families.

Are you passionate about storytelling, communications, and creating impact through inclusive messaging? Proud 2 b Parents is seeking a PR & Marketing Trustee to help us amplify the voices of LGBT+ parents, carers, and families..
What you’ll do:
- Support our communications and marketing strategy
- Champion inclusive representation
- Act as an ambassador for Proud 2 b Parents
- Help strengthen our community profile
Commitment: Four/six meetings a year (mix of online and in person) plus supporting events and campaigns when possible.
Voluntary role – with expenses covered.
