Join us for an inspiring and fun-filled family day out at Jodrell Bank — a truly unique place where pioneering heritage meets cutting-edge science. Part of The University of Manchester, Jodrell Bank is both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a live scientific research facility, making it an exciting and educational destination for all ages.

During our visit, young space adventurers will have the chance to explore the wonders (and perils!) of the universe in The Great Solar System Adventure — a thrilling and immersive Dome Show. We will come together as a group for this shared experience; full details will be confirmed in a pre-activity email from Matt.

Meeting details:

We will meet at the front of Jodrell Bank at 10:30am. Please make sure you check in with Matt, who will be the group organiser on the day.

At lunchtime, we’ll be hosting a Proud 2 b Parents takeover, giving us dedicated time to connect as a community. Please bring your own packed lunch so we can spend this time together. After lunch, families are welcome to continue exploring the site together or head off independently at their own pace.

This event is designed as a relaxed, inclusive family day out, with the aim of opening up new opportunities and experiences for LGBT+ parents, carers, and their children.
