We would love you to join us for a family meet-up at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) on Wednesday 29th July from 10:30am until 1:00pm.
I have chosen this date because MOSI will be hosting some fantastic special activities that day, giving children and families even more opportunities to explore, learn and have fun together.
Special activities include:
🚀 Take part in space-inspired LEGO challenges. From rockets and space stations to alien worlds and futuristic vehicles, imaginations will take off with activities hosted by Bricklands.
🚀 Meet Skybolt 2 – A Real Rocket Ship! The 30-foot-tall rocket ship Skybolt 2, hosted by Manchester-based aerospace company, Starchaser. Designed to reach speeds of up to 3,200 mph, Skybolt 2 first flew in September 2017 and still displays some visible marks from its landing. Visitors can revel at the real-life space craft and meet the team behind the rocket.
At the Museum MOSI offers a range of accessible facilities, including:
A Changing Places toilet
All-gender toilets
Accessible spaces throughout the museum
There are also plenty of areas where we can sit together and enjoy lunch as a group. If possible, please bring a packed lunch, although food and drinks are also available to purchase on site.
This will be a wonderful opportunity for families to spend time together, explore the museum and enjoy the exciting space-themed activities. We hope to see you there!
