Tell Us What You Think

Why Your Voice Matters

At Proud 2 b Parents, we know that the best way to make real change is by listening to the people who live it — that’s you.

That’s why we’re proud to be the official host of the LGBTQ+ Sounding Board for Community Health Equity Manchester (CHEM). It’s a space where your stories, thoughts, and ideas can help improve local services for LGBTQ+ people and families across Manchester.

We meet once a month and bring together different organisations and community voices to talk about what’s working — and what’s not — in things like healthcare, education, and support services.

By sharing your experience, whether it’s with your GP, social care, schools, or anything in between, you help us spot the gaps, highlight the good stuff, and push for the changes we all need.

The LGBTQ+ Sounding Board is here to:
✅ Make sure LGBTQ+ voices are heard across Manchester
✅ Give space for real talk about health inequalities and life as an LGBTQ+ person or family
✅ Feed your feedback straight into Manchester City Council and Public Health teams
✅ Be a supportive but honest voice that helps improve decision-making
✅ Come up with practical solutions that work for our community

Whether you’re a parent, carer, part of the LGBTQ+ community, or working to support it — your voice matters.

This is your chance to help shape a fairer, healthier Manchester that works for all of us.

How to Provide Feedback

It’s easy! Simply fill out the form below, sharing your thoughts, experiences, and any suggestions you may have.
Your responses will be treated as confidential to Proud 2 b Parents and your privacy will be respected at all times.

What We Do With Your Feedback

Every time someone shares their experience with us, we take it seriously. We read each response carefully and, unless you tell us not to, we’ll get in touch with the service you’ve mentioned — whether that’s to raise concerns, suggest improvements, or celebrate what they’re doing well.

We also use the feedback we collect (anonymously) to have bigger conversations with local services and decision-makers. This helps us push for changes that really reflect what LGBTQ+ families need and want.

So when you fill in one of our forms, you’re not just sharing your story — you’re helping to make things better for all LGBTQ+ people in Manchester..

Thank You 💜

Your experiences really do matter. By sharing your thoughts, whether it’s something great, something that needs to change, or just an idea, you’re helping us make services better for LGBTQ+ people in Manchester
